Power line parameters like resistance, reactance and capacitance can be entered into “Line properties” dialog “General” setting window. Resistance of the material will depend on the operating temperature and will be higher for high operating temperatures, thus, the user can specify estimated “Operating temperature”.
To specify power line model, choose “Details” tab in the “Line properties” window. The user can choose power line type: overhead or cable. By selecting one of these power line types, the user will be able to continue defining an overhead line or cable model.
