By default, regular busbar will have the voltage level of the last busbar added into the diagram. To change the voltage level of the busbar, follow the suggestions from 4.1 paragraph. It is possible to define that group of busbars is installed in the substation or region. This is done in the busbar properties “Substation” tab.
In order to create new substation or region, push button, enter substation or region title and push “Ok”.
Substations will be visible in the one-line network diagram as a dashed line. The user will be able to calculate short circuits only at buses of the particular substation if needed. This is helpful when there is a need to analyze big networks, however, it is not necessary to calculate short circuit at each bus.
The user may also configure substation properties by double clicking on the substation title. A window will pop up in which it is possible to change basic substation parameters such as its title and add grounding graphics.
