Main workspace window contains the most important functions to quickly model the grid and apply wanted study scenario or calculation.
Menu bar
The main toolbar. Contains a list of buttons for creating grid and calculating different cases
Elements tab
System elements bar for fast one line system diagram drawing (creating bus bars and adding other system elements)
Graphics window for one line diagram
Snapshots tab for managing snapshots for project manager
Creates a new graphics panel
Opens a scheme from file
Save, Save As and Save As Picture functions
Zoom In, Zoom Out and Zoom to Fit functions
Shows if all parameters of system elements are valid (“ ” in green background if no faults were found, “!” in yellow background if not recommended parameters were found and “ ” in red background if erroneous parameters were found )
Calculate. Performs selected calculation (load flow, harmonics load flow, motor start-up, short circuit)
Display results. Select to depict results in a one-line diagram of a particular calculation
Symmetrical and Asymmetrical calculation mode
Summary. Results depicted in tables of different calculations
Color results button. Shows color results
GIS module. Opens GIS workspace window. Drowpdown menu allows to redraw selected graphics based on GIS or PSM workspaces
Project manager button. Opens and closes the side window of the project manager pages
Tools can be enabled or disabled by one mouse click, darker grey indicates enabled tool.
Top tools menu:
1. Pins the elements' or snapshots bar at the right of the workspace window. This button allows the user to change element palette from being static to automatically hide when the cursor is not in range. It is very useful if display size is small or when the user needs more working space.
2. Keeps element type selected in pallet after the element is added. If toggled this button will allow to repeatedly add the same element multiple times.
3. Enables to drag elements of the scheme. When this button is disabled, it is possible to perform calculations but elements can not be moved.
