4.1. Principle of the one-line diagram drawing

 

           In the following chapters Inserting elements and Moving elements the principle of creating scheme will be explained.

 

           In this version of EA-PSM it is possible to draw scheme vertically. There are three kinds of buses at the Grid Panel: vertical, horizontal and node: . Bus state depends on how a scheme will be drawed. If bus element is already inserted in the scheme, it is possible to change its state by right clicking on it and selecting Graphics → Set state:

           In order to draw a scheme vertically, user should  use horizontal buses. Elements between horizontal buses can be added the same way as when using vertical (selecting both buses or by clicking in the space between them). This way elements are inserted automatically rotated. In order to rotate element manually, user should right-click on the element and choose Graphics → Rotate and then choose direction or simply select the element and press Tab button on the keyboard. Note: transformer's high and low voltage sides depend on the elements position!
