18.2. Flicker emission due to switching operations

In order to perform flicker emission due to switching operations analysis, user has to choose it from Analyze > Wind turbine power quality (IEC 61400-21). Then user can choose at what time the emission should be analyzed. There are three possible options:

Start-up at cut-in wind speed
Start-up at rated wind speed or higher
Worst case switching between generators

Calculated results are depicted in the table below. The limit are also depicted. If limit is exceeded, message is shown and exceeded value is indicated with orange colour. User can press

button to export the results of calculation to Microsoft Excel format,

button to export it to an image, and

to copy this table to project manager.
