18.1. Flicker emission due to continuous operations

 

           In order to calculate flicker emission due to the continuous operations, user has go to Analyze > Wind turbine power quality (IEC 61400-21) > Flicker emission due to the continuos operations. Then the user is asked to enter the annual average wind speed at hubheigh of the wind turbine at the site and press OK:

 

     

           After the calculation has finished, program displays the summary of emission factors at each bus:

    

          

           This table shows the flicker emission at each bus. The limit is also depicted. If the limit is exceeded, message is shown and exceeded value is indicated with orange colour. User can press button  to export the results of calculation to Microsoft Excel format, button to export it to an image, and to copy this table to project manager.
