Installing and launching “EA – PSM” software is simple. User that purchased software with dongle licence, gets two USB keys. One with software installer and another with the dongle. Users that purchased EA-PSM with server based licence (Floating or SAAS) gets installation manual and login information. EA-PSM installer also be downloaded from Energy Advice website. After launching the installer, it will take 4 steps to complete the installation.
“EA – PSM” can be launched using these license types: dongle license, floating license, SAS (Software as the service) license. To learn more about the license types and their respective validations please read the installation manual and following chapter.
Some details that may be useful for troubleshooting:
Our server’s IP address is 178.62.172.129. We use TCP to check for software updates and UDP to check for license updates. This checking sequence is run when the user launches EA-PSM.
On the server’s side, TCP uses port 7646 and UDP uses port 7647.
On the client’s side, TCP uses predefined system port and UDP uses port 52763.
