EA-PSM Hydraulics software has two types of nodes: simple nodes and base nodes. Base node resembles a network system point, at which modelling network is connected. The pressure at these nodes is a constant and can be defined by the user. Base nodes in scheme are marked by orange colour. Another type of nodes – simple nodes – are used for modelling elements connection points. In scheme they are marked with blue colour.
Although simple and base nodes perform different functions they are modelled as the same element. Nodes parameters window is shown below. To change nodes type, user should select “Base node“. Depending on button state, the „Task absolute, Pa“ field will be displayed or frozen. If user is modelling a base node, task pressure must be entered.
