The heat load element can be added to the scheme by clicking the button and connecting 2 hydraulic nodes. The heat load is depicted with 2 arrows from the line indicating that it takes the thermal power from the fluid. The properties of the heat load don't differ from those of the heat source, thus the ways to define the element can be read in the previous section Heat source.
There are 4 types of heat load models available:
Fixed thermal power
Dynamic thermal power
Fixed heat exchanger
Dynamic heat exhcanger
It is important to note that when a heat exchanger for a load is modelled, the condition Tin < Tout must be met, because the flowing fluid through the heat load element loses temperature, whereas the modelled side of the heat exchanger gains temperature.
