In the pump properties window the user can enter a name and description of pump. The main pump parameter is the pump characteristic. The modelling of this characteristic modelling is described in section. In pump parameters window, user must choose pump model, from current or new library.
The pump may also be connected to electric motor. In this case, the pump rotation speed will depend on the speed of the associated electric motor. Changing the motor operation point will initiate the change of the pump's operation point. For this reason the user may mmodel parallel electric and hydraulic networks.
All calculation results are displayed in electric and hydraulic summary windows.
If a pump is not connected with motor, the user must enter revolutions per minute.
