Load in EA-PSM Hydraulics software is divided into two categories – static and dynamic. A static load requires the constant flow, dynamic load demand depends on load characteristic. If scheme has at least one dynamic load, software will use time dependent load flow calculation algorithm. In the main load parameters window (shown below) user can enter title, description, specify user demand of flow and dimension.
Note: STP - Standard pressure temperature. Depending on the calculation algorithm, the load demand is recalculated from / to standard conditions.
In the "Dynamics" section of the parameters window, toggling the "Use dynamics" button, user can change the load from the static becomes dynamic. In order to model a time-dependent load, the user must enter thespecific points. The relative time is set to the abscissa axis, which depends entirely on the user and may be seconds, days or months. Demand is set to ordinate axis, dimensions of which are specified in the "Flow dimension" field.
