Choosing the "Infinite power" option results in the heat source supplying as much thermal power as it is lost between the inlet and outlet points of the source. In other words, the heat losses in the system are supplied with the thermal power.
Choosing the "Fixed thermal power" option will prompt the user to define the thermal power as a constant.
Choosing the "Fixed output temperature" option will prompt the user to define the output temperature as a constant or as a time function. It is important to note that using this option will disregardthetemperature that the user had defined in the base node of the system.
Using the option "Fixed heat exchanger" - the source is modelled a heat exchanger whose heating side (cooled side) parameters are defined by the user. Thus, the fluid flowing through the element takes the energy from the modelled heat exchanger side. The following parameters are defined:
