Installing and launching “EA – PSM” software is simple. A user who purchased the software gets two USB keys. One with software installer and another with the dongle. After launching the installer, it will take 4 steps to complete the installation.
“EA – PSM” can be launched using these license types: dongle license, floating license, SAS (Software as the service) license. To learn more about the license types and their respective validations please read the installation manual.
The simplest of all is the dongle license – an USB key (as shown below). Purchasers get a dongle key at the moment of purchase and it is sent by post.
Note: During installation and first start of the program, internet connection is necessary.
Some details that may be useful for troubleshooting:
Our server’s IP address is 178.62.172.129. We use TCP to check for software updates and UDP to check for license updates. This checking sequence is run when the user launches EA-PSM.
On the server’s side, TCP uses port 7646 and UDP uses port 7647.
On the client’s side, TCP uses predefined system port and UDP uses port 52763.
