To create a DC Inverter model, user should select “Modelling” on the main menu bar and then “DC Inverter modelling”. The DC Inverter modeling window will appear as depicted below:
In this window user can specify model, manufacturer data, minimum and maximum DC voltage output, frequency, nominal power and nominal grid voltage. “MPP” is an abbreviation of “maximum power point”. By specifying maximum and minimum DC voltage output, user will be capable to select optimal DC voltage output from the specified interval, to receive maximum power from PV modules.
