For example, to create an object that contains .xls data, user should mark any drawing element as “Output”:
Then group (20.2. Grouping elements) the output element with another drawing element. Now select the group and mark its acting class as “Excel import”:
The group marked as “Excel output” confirms that it contains an “Output” element and allows the user to choose the .xls file in the “Class data” tab. User should define the cells interval which will be used in calculations. For this .xls import element we use the column interval A1-A9.
NOTE: Only one-dimensional matrices are allowed in the “Excel import” element class data
